COVID-19 and Tourism in Formentera

Due to the pandemic coronavirus COVID-19 tourism in Formentera for the 2020 season will be allowed from June 15 for residents in Spain and from June 21 for residents in other countries.

Access Control to Illetes Beaches

From May 13 starts access control to the natural park of "Ses Salines de Formentera" (Illetes) which will be valid until September 30th every day from 9:00 to 17:00 in low season and from 9:00 to 20:00 in high season. The cost of access for non-residents in Formentera will be from 4,00€ to 6,00€ for cars and from 2,00€ to 4,00€ for motorbike depending on the period.

Access Regulation for Tourist Vehicles
March 2019
Approved for 2019 the access limit for vehicles and tourist tax, for this year the regulation will be in force from July 1st to August 31st and will be allowed access to Formentera for 230 motorcycles for tourism purposes plus 20 motorcycles for residents in Ibiza, the tourist tax will be 0,50€ from which the residents of the Balearic Islands are exempt.

Sargantana Vespa Meeting
October 2018
First "Sargantana Vespa Meeting" brings together a hundred amateurs of the most famous scooter that will travel approximately 300 km between Ibiza and Formentera from 12 to 14 October. Organized by the "Club Ibiza Vespúnic" it counts on the participation of motorcycles coming from motorbike clubs of Spain and France to discover routes and typical cuisine of Ibiza and Formentera.
